Clean glass and induction tops with a cooktop cleaner made for them, not abrasive pads. Scratches and burned-on residue can damage the surface and sensors.
Keep Controls Dry
Wipe up water and spills near the touch controls right away. Moisture on the control panel can cause beeping, error codes and controls that won’t respond.
Check Your Pans
Induction cooktops only work with magnetic cookware, and glass tops work best with flat-bottomed pans. The wrong pan can make it seem like a burner has failed.

Why is my glass top cooktop burner not heating?
Common causes are a failed radiant element, a bad infinite switch or a control board problem. If one burner stays on high, the switch or relay usually needs to be replaced. Call or text (405) 464-1191 — we can usually be there same-day or next-day.
Why won’t my induction cooktop heat my pan?
First make sure the pan is magnetic and sized for the burner. If the pan is right, the problem is usually a failed induction coil, power board or cooling fan — we can diagnose it.

In most cases, yes. Elements, switches, igniters and control boards usually cost far less than a new cooktop plus installation, and we give you a complete estimate before any work starts.
